Job Description/Responsibilities

Global Manager: E-Merchandising & Digital- Shelf

Lead Global E-Merchandising & Digital Shelf strategy across Sazerac entire portfolio of brands to enhance online shopping experience and drive sales across our Global Online Retail and DTC/.com channels; working in partnership with “The Shop” (Sazerac Creative Team) and external partners.

 

  • Lead and mentor a global team of 2 e-merchandising professionals and manage E-Merchandising & Digital Shelf external partners, budget, governance and ways of working with, Sales, Brand and Creative teams.
  • Utilize data analytics to track performance metrics, shopper’s behavior, and trends, making data-driven decisions to optimize e-merchandising strategies.
  • Partner with Global Head of Online Retail to prepare global briefs and direction for E-Content master creation with “The Shop” (Sazerac Creative Team). Guide local markets and retailers with the syndication and implementation. Develop and implement a comprehensive global e-merchandising strategy that aligns with business objectives and enhances the customer journey.
  • Assess the latest e-commerce technologies, tools, and trends, implementing innovations to enhance Sazerac’s Digital Shelf capabilities. With the support of Global E-Business & Digital Analyst, guide external agencies to implement best-in-class e-monitoring and performance tracking. 
  • Together with Global Head of Online Retail and Local E-Sales teams, identify opportunities to tailor E-Merchandising and Digital Shelf activities to local retailers' specifications and shopper behaviors.
  • Lead the creation, management, and optimization of brand online content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and engagement across all e-business and digital channels, ensuring that product listings are optimized for search visibility, accurate, and compelling. Collaborate with Shopper Marketing teams to align digital and in-store experiences, driving cohesive brand messaging and sales growth across all channels to create a seamless omnichannel experience. 
  • Conduct PDS reviews with direct reports to improve skills and performance utilizing PDS as tool to conduct optimal performance discussions, articulate consistent skill evaluations, recommend actions and tactics, and measure progress. Support the widespread use of PDS and promote and support Company culture within Sazerac.

 

 

 

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6 years relevant experience (minimum)
  • Proven leadership experience and the ability to coach and mentor a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Exceptional organization, prioritization, & project management skills
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful e-merchandising strategies on a global scale.
  • Mastery of digital shelf optimization, e-business platforms, content creation, management and syndication systems, and e-monitoring tools.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Shopper Marketing teams to align digital and in-store experiences, driving cohesive brand messaging and sales growth across all channels to create a seamless omnichannel experience.
  • Demonstrable expertise leading E-Merchandising across main Online Retail business models (marketplaces/pureplayers, omnichannel, last mile, eB2B, eTR, eLuxury) and DTC/.com brand platforms across several Regions (North America, APAC and Europe strongly de
  • Mastery in managing internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, especially wiring with Sales, Brand, Shopper Marketing and Creative Teams.

PREFERRED

  • Previous experience in Spirits, Beverage or FMCG.
