Job Description/Responsibilities

The Global Reporting & Advanced Analytics Manager is responsible for standard market & business intelligence reporting, as well as Advanced Analytics such as marketing mix modeling, price/promo analytics, and consumer churn/retention modeling. This role is of strategic importance as Sazerac embarks on its journey towards becoming a data-driven organization. This role will establish business critical data requirements, collaborate with stakeholders to create reusable data assets, and deliver value added analytics that inform better decision making on how we optimize our marketing investments.

Qualifications/Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Sazerac fiscal year growth by optimizing total marketing spending, efficiency and strategy. Translating insights and analytics into top and bottom-line global growth to support reaching fiscal year plans.
  • Oversee , white space & opportunity identification and ROI modeling to define Sazerac brands' growth opportunities in US and abroad. Partner with Brand Marketing, Sales & Finance teams to ensure insights and data are leveraged in brand standards, business strategies, sales materials, marketing plans, and activations.
  • Set up a clear process for investment analytics/modeling to enhance and inform annual brand planning choices globally. Oversee development of tools, insights, and compelling consumer rationales to support fact-based presentations based on sales, velocities, media mix, pricing, distribution, product, and promotion analysis.
  • Detailed ns by BCSP with clear action plans and measurement in place will allow for expansion of what works and continued spend for revenue growth in key focal areas for the company.
  • Establish well organized priorities for yourself and team members (RACI), ensure roles are well defined and people understand their responsibilities and task requirements. This role will have to create a full workstream to inform and analyze annual planning and assess performance thereof. While role will have analyst level direct report(s), this role will also manage the analytics and reporting ecosystem across the in-house agency, innovation team and broader marketing organizations so will influence brand marketing and finance workstreams as well.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Econometrics, Data Science or similar quantitative discipline
  • 7+ years of business analytics experience covering both reporting and advanced analytics such as marketing mix modelling, price/promo analytics, churn/retention/upsell
  • 5+ years’ experience working on a global business
  • Exceptional analytical, data interpretation, problem-solving skills including experience explaining analytics in a simple way
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Have proven experience of handling large datasets and reporting automation (including familiarity with media platform data)
  • Have advanced MS Excel, SQL, R, Python (or similar) experience
  • Comfort creating and navigating common media dashboards and structuring reporting tables
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Organizational agility to skills

PREFERRED

  • Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Econometrics, Data Science or similar quantitative discipline
  • Experience in UK, ESP, GER, FR media markets. Language proficiency in English.
  • Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry, CPG, or FMCG overall
