Job Description/Responsibilities

The Revenue Management Manager is responsible for implementing and organizing revenue management strategies throughout Sazerac. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail to drive revenue growth and profitability. The Revenue Management Manager will work closely with in-market teams and cross functionally with relevant departments including Marketing, Sales & Finance to ensure that revenue management practices align with the overall business objectives and the company’s revenue management strategy.

 

  • Conduct PDS reviews with direct reports to enhance skills and performance by utilizing PDS as a tool for effective performance discussions, providing consistent skill evaluations, recommending actions and strategies, and measuring progress. Encourage the broad adoption of PDS within the Centralized Sales Reporting group. Foster and reinforce Company culture within the Centralized Sales Reporting team.
  • Support bi-annual pricing strategy sprints to identify and recommend opportunities for revenue growth. Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the Sazerac pricing playbook, along with templates for ongoing playbook management. Facilitate cross-functional initiatives with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to enhance revenue growth and operational efficiency. Lead collaboration with the Marketing team to define pricing objectives and strategies for both existing brands and new product launches. Establish guidelines for promotional pricing and activities to be incorporated into pricing plans.
  • Oversee the daily operations related to the execution of the Company’s revenue management priorities and strategies to optimize revenue and profitability. Build influence among department leaders by establishing functional credibility, demonstrating strong communication skills, and delivering consistent results.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the team. Offer training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.
  • Design, develop, and implement dynamic pricing models and revenue management systems. Conduct comprehensive market analysis to understand trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes. Monitor pricing execution to ensure compliance with established pricing corridors and revenue management strategies. Implement strategies to optimize revenue across all sales channels and customer segments. Evaluate the profitability of the portfolio mix across geographic regions and channels, and provide assortment recommendations as needed.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to develop annual revenue forecasts and targets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives. Create a scorecard of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, pricing execution, and market trends. Design, build, and implement reports that offer insights into revenue performance and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop processes, systems, technologies, and tools to achieve the Company's revenue management objectives. Act as a subject matter expert on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in economics and revenue management. Foster innovation in revenue management processes and strategies, including the collection of pricing data. Offer leadership, coaching, and guidance to the revenue management analysts.

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements

MUST

  • 8 years of experience in a brand marketing, finance, or sales team at a CPG company, preferably with Revenue Management or pricing responsibilities.
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced pricing knowledge (e.g., understanding of pricing and promotional strategies, market conditions that impact pricing decisions, price elasticity, B2B value chains, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of consumer price volume data (Nielsen/NABCA data, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other office software
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically
  • Experience with advanced data analysis, project management, financial modeling, and forecasting.
  • Experience with advanced analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Tableau, Python, Excel).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to pay attention to detai.

PREFERRED

  • Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG overall
  • Master's degree in related field
