Job Description/Responsibilities

The Director of HUB Analytics & Reporting will set the strategic vision and priorities for the centralized Sales and Operations (Including Manufacturing, Logistics, and Procurement) Analytics and Reporting team to support the overall goals and objectives of the Sazerac Sales and Operations organizations, and support the activities of Sazerac’s Global Hub. They lead efforts to evaluate best practices in the industry for functional KPI reporting, advanced analytics and business insight. They partner with Sales, Operations and Finance Leadership to develop best in class, actionable reporting aligned to strategic priorities.  The role interacts cross-functionally and influences leaders throughout the organization.

 

  • Conduct PDS reviews with direct reports to improve skills and performance utilizing PDS as tool to conduct optimal performance discussions, articulate consistent skill evaluations, recommend actions and tactics, and measure progress. Support the widespread use of PDS within the Centralized Sales Reporting group. Promote and support Company culture within the Analytics Hub Reporting group.
  • Leads the sourcing, analysis, integration, and management of Sales and operational data. Drives the group strategy for analytics and reporting. Responsible for owning the relationship with key stakeholders and vendors to identify, prioritize, build and manage data integrity, timeliness, security and training. Responsible for developing new vendor relationships to expand Business Intelligence and Reporting capabilities, facilitate continuous improvement in techniques and effectiveness, and manage cost-value.
  • Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of data validation and reporting. Ensures that analytics, dashboards and reporting enable business stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives. Partner with IT/Master Data team to ensure all data/reporting and product metadata is complete and accurate. Work with stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Strategic partner with business (Marketing, Sales and Operations) to provide strategic analysis that enables decision making across the business. Facilitate cross-functional conversations and ensures we are providing best in class data analysis for our brands, consumers, customers and operations to help accelerate growth and achieve critical objectives.
  • Provide mentorship, training and opportunity for the individuals in the department (Sales and Operations analytics team) to grow within Sazerac based on their career development plan. Knows the career goals and plans for the team and works to develop and retain key successors in the organization.
  • Lead centralized BI and Hub Analytics team whose primary responsibility is to develop and deliver reports required by external and internal stakeholders with 100% accuracy and within the time frame requested. This team focuses on performance reporting and benchmarking Sazerac’s Sales and Operations performance against peers. The outputs of the BI and Hub Analytics team enables strategic priority setting and provides insights that enhance functional initiatives.
  • Play a lead role in analyzing and maximizing performance through developing and enhancing processes and tools. Challenge, develop and improve processes to drive efficiencies and improve performance. Develop/Recommend processes that are aligned with company policies and programs; communicate processes, provide training as needed to ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement and flawless execution of all processes and systems. Drive development and deployment of business analytics tools and dashboards.  Promote functional efficiency so that non-value added work is reduced or eliminated.
  • Manage relationship and activities to provide decisions support to stakeholders. Including managing key processes, and data. Continuous improvement activities for transitioned work.  Identification, creation and implementation of new reporting and analysis to provide to key stakeholders.

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements

MUST

  • 10 years relevant experience (minimum)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
  • Proven strong analytical and technical skills managing large datasets
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Qlik or Tableau
  • Proficiency in database management, including data cleansing, data governance, and data quality assurance
  • Knowledge of forecasting techniques and predictive analytics to support sales planning and predict future sales trends
  • Proficient in SQL

 

PREFERRED

  • Experience in advanced predictive modeling and statistical analysis
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as R or Python
