Job Description/Responsibilities

Sazerac is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to support the full spectrum of HR operations for our Swiss office in Lucerne. This role requires a solid understanding of Swiss labor law, strong administrative skills, and the ability to manage diverse HR activities. The HR Generalist will ensure compliance with local regulations, support employees, and contribute to creating an engaging work environment. In addition to supporting local HR functions, this role will provide HR support for recruiting activities and assist with global HR initiatives for employees across other European offices and the APAC region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Swiss labor laws and regulations, providing guidance to management and staff.
  • Manage HR administration, including employment contracts, personnel files, and document control.
  • Support recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding for both local and international roles.
  • Provide HR support to the global business, assisting employees across European offices and the APAC region with HR-related inquiries and processes.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, providing support in conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
  • Coordinate payroll input and liaise with external payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in accordance with Swiss legal standards.
  • Maintain HR systems and generate reports to aid data-driven decision-making.
  • Organize employee engagement activities and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries within the Swiss office.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 - 5 years of HR experience, preferably within Switzerland.
  • In-depth knowledge of Swiss labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting recruitment activities.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; German is not required but considered as a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with payroll coordination and HR information systems is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in the beverage, consumer goods, or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
