Job Description/Responsibilities

Responsible for executing activities to make Sazerac brands locally relevant, with a focus on Fireball, Buffalo Trace, BuzzBallz, Southern Comfort, and Paddy  across Europe, Middle East, RSA. Tailor Global marketing strategies to local markets and execute plans to accelerate brand awareness and consumption across markets. Work collaboratively with distributors, global/local sales and broader marketing organization to ensure brand building fundamentals and campaigns are executed successfully.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of campaigns on assigned categories/brands from concept to perfect in-store execution, making global strategies locally relevant. For managed brands/projects, develop marketing activation plans, budgets, standards, channel & pricing strategy and ensure plan is executed to reach sales and profit objectives. Identify and see through to completion areas to save money, improve efficiency and add value to the company.

 

  • Localize Global Marketing tool kits and brand strategies, ensuring alignment with Global Brand strategies.

 

  • Work cross functionally to execute the brand build strategy for assigned categories/brands into a viable and profitable global consumer business consistent with the company's overall strategy and goals. Support the development of local brand execution strategies to achieve consumer objectives and solve customer problems.

 

  • Prioritize time & resources on assigned categories/brands and most critical projects to achieving volume, profit and KPI targets. Use available tools and other resources to measure and analyze progress against business goals.

 

  • Lead and/or support the management of agency efforts, both internally and in partnership with global distributors, in delivering effective & efficient creative solutions, packaging, marketing materials, promotion, public relations and media for assigned category/brand programs.

 

  • For assigned categories/brands, support the execution of company process to concept, plan, develop, launch and successfully execute new products that drive growth. Navigate new projects through internal cross-functional teams and processes leading to on-time & on budget delivery.

 

  • Establish well organized priorities for yourself. Ensure project team members understand their roles, updates are posted, and priorities are successfully completed.  Monitor progress and use system to inform against priorities

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Relevant experience in brand marketing, marketing activation, or category management, with a proven ability to execute marketing plans that drive brand growth and business performance.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis.
  • Strong computer skills and a high level of comfort using technology, systems, and data-driven tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across markets, functions, and organizational levels.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex projects from planning through execution, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Commercially minded marketer with experience adapting global strategies for local market needs and delivering measurable business results.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative, international environment and takes ownership of outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
    Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG/ FMCG overall
